Abstract

<p>Este libro porporciona contribuciones que permiten un acercamiento solvente al nuevo institucionalismo en las ciencias sociales y recoge aportaciones que se sit&uacute;an en la frontera de investigaci&oacute;n del an&aacute;lisis institucional sobre gobernanza, econom&iacute;a y pol&iacute;tica. La obra re&uacute;ne un conjunto de ensayos realizados por investigadores reconocidos en estas materias que trabajan en universidades y centros de investigaci&oacute;n de diversos pa&iacute;ses. En todo caso, el pluralismo de enfoques, teor&iacute;as y m&eacute;todos constituye un rasgo caracter&iacute;stico del an&aacute;lisis institucional contempor&aacute;neo, que se aleja de la espcializaci&oacute;n en debates metodol&oacute;gicos, tan caracter&iacute;sticos de anteriores tradiciones institucionalistas, y busca, en cambio , avanzar en propuesttas te&oacute;ricas y en investigaciones espec&iacute;ficas aplicadas a regiones del mundo, pa&iacute;ses o sectores, con desarrollos emp&iacute;ricos crecientemente depurados.</p>
