DESCRIPCIÓN DEL DESEMPEÑO EN LAS ACTIVIDADES INSTRUMENTALES DE LA VIDA DIARIA DE MUJERES ADULTAS CON DIAGNÓSTICO DE FIBROMIALGIA

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo fue describir el desempeño en las actividades instrumentales de la vida diaria (AIVD) de mujeres adultas, de entre 30 a 60 años, con diagnóstico de fibromialgia (FM), de la Corporación de Fibromialgia de Chile en el año 2022. Se reclutó, mediante un muestreo no probabilístico a conveniencia, a 31 mujeres de la corporación antes mencionada para la aplicación del Instrumento de Evaluación de Desempeño Ocupacional de la Vida Diaria Instrumental Hernández – Neumann, a través de modalidad virtual. Los resultados fueron de 17 mujeres de la muestra total, obteniendo grados de dependencia variables en todas las actividades, siendo la menos afectada la gestión en la comunicación con un 70%(n=) de independencia y la más afectada es el establecimiento y manejo del hogar con un 76,5% (n=) de las participantes dependiente, pero colaboran en la actividad. En los resultados obtenidos se evidenció que el desempeño de las AIVD se ve afectado producto de la sintomatología que la FM presenta, destacando el dolor, cansancio y fatiga como principales limitantes, por lo que las personas suelen tener distintos niveles de dependencia al llevar a cabo estas actividades, y requieren distintos niveles de asistencia para realizarlas.
