The authors reflect on digital money, how it can impact business and competition and its implications through the private and public sectors. They state digital money offers individuals the potential for cheaper and easier access to finance but can also reduce privacy and may have reduced security in financial dealings. They comment on how digital money can reduce cash handling costs and improve efficiency for organizations but can also increase uncertainty and talk about managing digital money
