Dubai is considered a major jurisdiction for arbitration. At the federal level, the legislator enacted a new arbitration law that mirrors international standards in the drive to make the United Arab Emirates a major hub for arbitration. The purpose of this article is to shed light on some of the most important changes made and how the highest court in Dubai interpreted the new provisions of the law.
