
En este trabajo se analiza la relación que se presenta entre la votación obtenida por los tres partidos políticos más importantes de México (PRI, PAN y PRD) y la presencia de cristianos católicos y cristianos no católicos, en las 32 entidades del país. Se estudian solamente las elecciones para gobernador en cada uno de los estados y la fuerza y cantidad de personas de uno u otro grupo religioso. This paper analyzes the relationship existing between the vote achieved by the 3 more relevant Mexican parties (PRI, PAN and PRD), and the presence of christian catholics and no catholics groups across the 32 local states. Governor races in each state are studied in here to weight the strength and amount of people belonging to each religious group.
