Abstract

Para contribuir a solventar las dificultades que enfrentan los países en vías de desarrollo, en materia de investigación química que involucra elevada tecnologíainstrumental, y con la intención de desarrollar un método sencillo de determinación de pureza enantiomérica, sededujo un modelo matemático fundamentado en consideraciones geométricas relacionadas con los ángulosde rotación óptica específica mostrados por los compuestos ópticamente activos y sus mezclas enantioméricas, que originó una ecuación matemática que hace posible la determinación analítica mencionada. El análisis estadístico de los resultados demostró que, tanto el modelo matemático como el método polarimétrico, propuestos, son precisos, exactos, estadísticamente válidos y significativos, y su aplicaciónproporciona resultados idénticos y equivalentes a los obtenidos por la metodología de Resonancia MagnéticaNuclear, lo que conduce al establecimiento de una metodología nueva, disponible y de menor costo, que contribuye no solamente a desarrollar la infraestructura analítica de la Química, sino también a ampliar los horizontes de investigación de otras disciplinas científicas.
