Contribución Al Conocimiento De Los Hongos Comestibles De Guatemala

Abstract

Este artículo presenta un listado de 70 especies de hongos que son utilizadas como comestibles en Guatemala, de las cuales 21 constituyen nuevos registros para el país. De cada especie se indican los sitios de recolecta durante los años 2001-2002 y se presenta una descripción detallada de 10 especies. Para la realización de este trabajo se recolectaron más de 600 especímenes en 21 comunidades del país, los cuales están depositados en la Micoteca de Macrohongos de Guatemala, "Lie. Rubén Mayorga Peralta", del Departamento de Microbiología de la Facultad de Ciencias Químicas y Farmacia, Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
