Abstract

Este artigo propõem uma reflexão sobre a genealogia da proibição da maconha no Brasil. Procurando identificar a contribuição da antropologia – através das teorias evolucionistas – na construção do discurso proibicionista que se articula tanto com o saber médico quanto com o saber jurídico. E os reflexos dessa genealogia na atual política de drogas conduzida pelo Sistema de Justiça Criminal (SJC).
