Abstract

Este artigo surge no marco do projeto de investigação intitulado “Aportes para a incorporação social e urbanística dos assentamentos informais, originados por processos de deslocamento forçado” do grupo de investigação “Estudos sobre a problemática Urbano-Regional da Colômbia COL0024196” e financiado com recursos da convocatória Orlando Fals Borda 2015-2016 da Faculdade de Ciências Humanas da Sede Bogotá da Universidade Nacional da Colômbia. Para a realização da investigação, partiu-se de um projeto metodológico com abordagem qualitativa, participando da exploração da documentação de referência sobre o fenômeno dos assentamentos irregulares nas cidades da América Latina e da Colômbia, bem como a identificação de três estudos de caso nas cidades colombianas: Ibagué e Villavicencio. Se implementar entrevistas e observação participante a líderes comunitários e residentes. Os casos analisados ​​permitem evidenciar que as características da ocupação, os modos de habitar e os caminhos andados para a legalização ou formalização dos assentamentos irregulares de origem ilegais são próprios e únicos; Por outro lado, as cidades intermediárias colombianas estão acumulando um fenômeno sindrômico de urbanismo de emergência.
