Geopolymer recycled concrete is a kind of green building materials, which is of great significance to reduce the waste of resources and protect the environment. This paper discusses the basic mechanical properties and durability of geopolymer recycled concrete materials, and reviews the compressive strength, modulus of elasticity and Poisson's ratio of the basic mechanical properties, the carbonation resistance, acid erosion resistance, frost resistance and the performance of fibre geopolymer recycled concrete components in the durability properties. The study shows that by changing the ratio of the amount of oxide material, the excitation conditions, the curing mechanism, the substitution rate of recycled aggregate, the volume of fibre admixture and the water glass modulus, the geopolymer concrete is able to outperform the ordinary silicate concrete in terms of the basic mechanical properties and the durability performance. However, in practical engineering applications, further research is needed to improve its material properties.
