Historical Geology for the Geology Major

Abstract

Historical geology has been modified to provide more adequate background for geology majors specializing in petroleum and geophysics. Ways are suggested of adding material in the fields of sedimentary tectonics, structural evolution of provinces, methods of dating, and usage of stratigraphic nomenclature.
