
El presente texto revisa las exigencias de la política ecológica a la luz de la distinción entre la modernidad sistémica y la modernidad cultural. Esto permite entender la complejidad de la modernidad y los detalles que han de tenerse en cuenta si se busca llevar a cabo una política ecológica. Ello implica precisar en qué sentido determinadas posiciones de la política ecológica resultan ser contramodernas y terminan atentando contra los derechos fundamentales. This article revises the requirements of ecological politics in light of the distinction between systemic and cultural modernity. This allows us to understand the complexity of modernity and the details that must be taken into account if one seeks to carry out an ecological policy. Further, this implicates the need to specify in which sense certain stances of ecological politics reveal themselves as counter-modern and end up violating fundamental rights.
