Abstract

No Brasil a avicultura de corte é um segmento de muita força, a qual preserva a qualidade para manter sua posição diante do marcado interno e externo. Diante disso um dos parâmetros principais a ser preservado para o bem estar dos frangos é a ambiência, o qual visa o conforto térmico do animal que interfere diretamente no seu processo produtivo. Necessitamos de um ambiente equilibrado nas devidas temperaturas conforme a idade dos frangos, sendo assim há dois principais sistemas de aquecimento que são o forno e as campânulas a gás. Dentro da utilização do forno temos o recurso dendroenergético que é a lenha que além de ter um percentual considerável de seu uso, também satisfaz o apelo na atual busca e utilização de combustíveis renováveis. A região oeste do Paraná sendo um dos destaques no processo de desenvolvimento tecnológico na produção agropecuária e juntamente com a tendência e necessidade das florestas energéticas tem despertado interesse de analisar melhor tais parâmetros. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi realizar um estudo sobre o consumo da lenha em aviários, sua origem, influência da umidade em seu potencial energético entre outros parâmetros.
