RUÍDO OCUPACIONAL COMO FATOR DE RISCO PARA PERDA AUDITIVA

Abstract

Estudo de coorte histórica com corte transversal no Distrito Federal, em indústrias de diferentes funções, comníveis de ruído acima de 85 dB(A), realizado em 2007. Objetivos: determinar a prevalência de alterações auditivas, bemcomo levantamento de indicadores de PAIR, identificar a percepção de um som elevado para o indivíduo, e verificar apresença de zumbido nessa população. A amostra foi composta de 292 trabalhadores que realizaram avaliações do limiarauditivo precedidas de anamnese. Observou-se que 46% apresentam algum tipo de perda auditiva e que 37,33% tempresença de zumbido. A PAIR e a idade do trabalhador são variáveis preditoras do zumbido, e quanto maior for o grau daperda auditiva e a idade do trabalhador, maior será a percepção do sintoma. Este estudo aponta a necessidade de umtrabalho com ações preventivas e de orientação com relação ao nível elevado do som ou ruído nos ambientes de trabalho.
