CAMINHABILIDADE NA ÁREA INTRAURBANA DE LAJEADO/RS

Abstract

O Indice de Caminhabilidade - ICam avalia a forma que as caracteristicas do meio urbano influenciam o caminhar. O objetivo desse trabalho foi calcular e avaliar o ICam na area intraurbana da cidade de Lajeado, RS, no ano de 2018, por meio de coleta de dados relacionada aos 15 indicadores sugeridos pelo Instituto de Politicas de Transporte e Desenvolvimento (ITDP Brasil) e da aplicacao da versao 2.0 do ICam. Foram obtidos os resultados com indicacao de cada segmento de calcada analisado para cada um dos indicadores e foi determinado o indice sintetizado, fornecendo um parecer geral da regiao delimitada pelo estudo, alem da sugestao de melhorias. O ICam na area de estudo foi considerado suficiente. Foi sugerida a revisao da forma de coleta e avalicao de um indicador, alem da realizacao de manutencoes nas travessias e rampas, instalacao de piso podotatil, parklets e implantacao de medidas de traffic calming.
