Abstract

O presente artigo refere-se à relevância do lúdico, em especial da brincadeira de faz-de-conta, para o desenvolvimento infantil. Temos como objetivo revisar e aprofundar conhecimentos sobre o tema, problematizar a importância das situações lúdicas no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, assim como refletir sobre algumas inquietações a respeito do tema. Duas questões nortearam o artigo: Um projeto que valorize o faz-de-conta pode atender a diversidade característica das crianças nesta fase de desenvolvimento? Uma educação que valoriza o faz-de-conta promove o desenvolvimento e previne as dificuldades de aprendizagem? O referencial teórico utilizado está baseado nas teorias de Piaget, Vygotsky e alguns autores da área de psicopedagogia. Podemos assim, afirmar que, através do comprometimento em assegurar tempo e espaço para brincar, o educador contribui, decisivamente, para o desenvolvimento e a aprendizagem das crianças, destacando que a brincadeira de faz-de-conta é uma rica experiência que propicia uma aprendizagem significativa e prazerosa.
