Abstract

Este artigo demonstra a importância de trabalhar a psicomotricidade em escolas de educação infantil, com crianças de quatro anos, na cidade de São Paulo- SP. Promovendo atividades que exploram os movimentos corporais, permitindo assim que na escola as crianças sejam vistas por inteiro. As atividades desenvolvidas exploraram aspectos de noção corporal e estruturação espaço- temporal, ampliando os espaços para além da sala de aula, além de estruturar a classe como um espaço diferente de um local com mesas e cadeiras que aprisiona os corpos para se trabalhar apenas com a mente. As vivências favoreceram o movimento corporal e cognitivo, através das intencionalidades das ações.
