Tres andamios para el cómic colombiano

Abstract

Este es un ensayo dibujado que propone tres andamios esenciales para la sostenibilidad del cómic colombiano: conciencia y desarrollo sobre sus formas de valor, sus relaciones de trabajo y sus infraestructuras. Estas tres categorías están inspiradas en la teoría de los mundos del arte del sociólogo Howard S. Becker, que afirma que las prácticas artísticas se constituyen por sistemas de cooperación en las que intervienen múltiples roles y flujos de información y de materia, y en mi propia observación participante como autor, miembro de colectivos y gestor de cómics en Colombia. Adicionalmente, el ensayo dibujado está construido a partir de múltiples metáforas visuales que extienden la propuesta teórica de los tres andamios y que, por medio de las estrategias gráficas que ofrece el cómic, construyen nuevos sentidos sobre ella.
