Artificial intelligence - strategic applications across sectors

Abstract

In today's deeply interconnected economic landscape, where companies are expanding globally and benefiting from extensive human and material resources, complex challenges arise. These range from internal productivity problems to increasingly difficult decision-making processes. The ability to continuously adjust to technological advances, consumer needs and fierce competition is a strategic imperative for the survival and success of these organizations. The present study aims to highlight the major industrial domains that make use of artificial intelligence, those that benefit considerably from its implementation, and those that continue to show a remarkable potential for future development. In this respect, the literature survey reveals that currently, industries using artificial intelligence are seeing significant improvements in productivity and decision-making, with sectors such as finance, automotive and telecommunications leading the way.
