Kesejahteraan Psikologis sebagai Prediktor Kontrol Glikemik pada Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kontrol glikemik yang baik penting untuk mencegah komplikasi dan menurunkan angka kematian akibat diabetes. Pencapaian kontrol glikemik ini tidak hanya bergantung pada aspek medis, tetapi juga pada faktor psikologis. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kesejahteraan psikologis dengan kontrol glikemik pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan studi cross-sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di Klinik Imanuel Manado. Sebanyak 87 sampel pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 dipilih secara purposive dengan kriteria inklusi penelitian ini yaitu pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 yang berusia 30 tahun keatas, pasien yang terdiagnosis diabetes melitus tipe 2 lebih dari 1 tahun, dan melakukan pemeriksaan kadar HbA1c selama 3 bulan terakhir. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian yang terdiri dari kuesioner Ryff’s Scale of Psychological Well-Being (SPWB) yang diadaptasi oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Hasil: Hasil uji statistik dengan korelasi Spearman rhoo menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kesejahteraan psikologis dengan kontrol glikemik pada pasien DM Tipe 2 dengan kekuatan hubungan (r = -.753) dengan nilai p = 0,038 (p < 0,05). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kesejahteraan psikologis dan kontrol glikemik pada pasien DM tipe 2, dengan korelasi negatif yang kuat.
