Abstract

Em 2022, uma equipe de professores e professoras do Núcleo de Estudos de Filosofias e Infâncias - NEFI, da UERJ realizou a primeira alfabetização filosófica em Pau dos Ferros, RN. Paulo Freire foi a inspiração, a sua vida e prática educativa, o seu projeto-piloto de alfabetização que realizou em 1963, na cidade de Angicos, RN, próximo de Pau dos Ferros. A partir desta experiência surge a questão: o que faz com que uma alfabetização filosófica possa receber esse nome? No texto, escrito de forma narrativa com perguntas que interpelam a quem é docente, coloca atenção na forma, nos comos ou modos, que foram cuidados para desenvolver essa formação. Não pretende-se definir o método para fazer uma alfabetização filosófica, pelo contrário, também com Freire, se afirma que não existe método preestabelecido para isto.
