CONSIDERAÇÕES SOBRE O CADASTRO TERRITORIAL E A INFORMALIDADE URBANA

Abstract

A recorrente existência de assentamentos informais nas cidades latinas reflete os diversos problemas de gestão e planejamento enfrentados. Devido à sua complexidade e configuração, muitos destes espaços não são fáceis de identificar e, assim, não constam nos registros territoriais. Isto dificulta o acesso da população ao processo de regularização, mantendo sua condição de ilegalidade e seu afastamento da infraestrutura disponível para outros setores das cidades. O uso de tecnologias na identificação e registro destas áreas é um tema de estudos recentes, configurando um estado da arte interessante para esta o tema. Desta forma, neste trabalho apresentam-se estudos recentes acerca da questão social da informalidade e possibilidades para sua resolução, passando pela configuração de um cadastro territorial e de políticas públicas específicas.
