Abstract

Este estudo tem como objetivo ressaltar a importância das experiências de leitura na vida profissional. Participaram desta pesquisa cinco alunas do 5º período do curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Estadual do Maranhão. A natureza da pesquisa é qualitativa, trazendo uma análise situada dentro da história de leitura de cada entrevistada. O instrumento utilizado para obter dados foi a entrevista semiestruturada. O trabalho foi fundamentado em estudos teóricos de diversos autores demonstrando que o percurso de formação acadêmica traz contribuição das vivências em diversos contextos de letramento e da forma de atuação como professoras dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental. A investigação contribui para os estudos linguísticos na medida em que permite a discussão do acadêmico no processo de formação do professor como usuário da língua materna e atuante como alfabetizador.
