Impacto de la Resincronización del estro sobre la eficiencia reproductiva en vacas mestizas

Abstract

La baja tasa de preñez debido a los días vacíos es un desafío significativo para la eficiencia reproductiva en ganaderías bovinas. Este estudio evaluó el impacto de la resincronización precoz (22 días post-IATF) y la convencional (30 días post-IATF) en vacas mestizas. Se analizaron 120 vacas multíparas de 5 años y entre 85-150 días postparto. Se utilizó la prueba de Chi- cuadrado para evaluar la relación entre el tamaño del cuerpo lúteo y la preñez, y la prueba exacta de Fisher para comparar tasas de preñez. Aunque la resincronización precoz presentó una tasa de preñez acumulada superior (72,73% vs. 66,15%), la diferencia no fue estadísticamente significativa (P=0,5522). Sin embargo, se encontró una asociación significativa entre el tamaño del cuerpo lúteo y la preñez (P= 0,0129). Las pérdidas embrionarias no mostraron diferencias entre tratamientos (P= 0,5421).Estos resultados indican que la resincronización precoz es una estrategia eficiente para reducir el intervalo entre inseminaciones sin afectar la tasa de preñez ni aumentar pérdidas embrionarias. Además, la influencia del cuerpo lúteo en la gestación subraya la importancia de su monitoreo en programas reproductivos. La composición racial del ganado influye en estos parámetros, lo que resalta la necesidad de ajustar las estrategias reproductivas según las características fisiológicas de cada raza para optimizar la reproducción bovina.
