dodecafonismo como um conceito musical

Abstract

Neste artigo, o dodecafonismo é revisitado com o objetivo de criar uma perspectiva histórica sobre sua significação, abrangendo desde seu desenvolvimento por Arnold Schoenberg, passando por algumas teorizações e debates suscitados pela técnica, até sua recepção no Brasil no contexto do Movimento Música Viva. Com base em ampla bibliografia sobre o tema, a pesquisa conclui que, em anos recentes, houve uma transformação na compreensão do conceito de dodecafonismo. Essa mudança decorre do aumento quantitativo de análises de obras dodecafônicas, que revelou a diversidade de usos da técnica e imensa variedade de resultados sonoros alcançados por compositoras e compositores ao longo de cerca de 100 anos desde sua criação. Por meio do estudo sobre o dodecafonismo, esta pesquisa também busca divulgar a história dos conceitos musicais como uma abordagem historiográfica que integra teoria e experiência, contribuindo para a compreensão de momentos históricos relevantes e para a relação entre teoria musical e história.
