The site was divided up into 4 areas and investigated through the excavation of 226 trenches Of the 226 trenches excavated across the site, 15 yielded archaeological evidence (c. 6%), while the remaining 211 were negative (c.96%). Activity was concentrated loosely to the centre and south-west boundary of Area 4, for the most part comprising of linears and pits. The majority of the features showed extensive signs of truncation likely due to the extensive agricultural practices occurring in the area. A small artefact assemblage suggest activity on site ranging from the Prehistoric to post-medieval. The remains recovered have been assessed as being of low archaeological significance with the trace activity dating to the Prehistoric and Roman periods deemed to be of local importance (low archaeological significance), and post-medieval to modern remains were characterised as being of local to negligible importance. The majority of features encountered were undated, the significance of which is hard to assess, however they are most likely to be of low to negligible archaeological significance. The distribution of features was almost entirely concentrated to Area 4 with the exception of a single feature in Area 2 demonstrating low archaeological potential. Intensive ploughing across all areas has likely removed the majority of archaeology deposits.
