Psychische, physische und sozioökonomische Folgen für Familien nach der Geburt höhergradiger Mehrlinge

Abstract

Anhand einer retrospektiven, schriftlichen Befragung von 64 Drillings-, Vierlings-, und Fünflingsfamilien, die zwischen 1983 und 1998 an der Klinik und Poliklinik für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe - Großhadern entbunden hatten, wurden die Belastungen, die auf eine Familie nach der Geburt höhergradiger Mehrlinge zukommen, in folgenden Bereichen erhoben, ausgewertet und diskutiert: Kinderwunschtherapie, ökonomische Bereiche (finanzielle Problematik, materielle Unterstützung, personelle Unterstützung, Wohnsituation), psychische und physische Probleme (körperliche Entwicklung und Krankheiten der Mehrlinge, körperliche und seelische Verfassung der Eltern, Ehe und Partnerschaft), soziale Bereiche (Ausbildung und Beruf der Eltern, Kindergarten- und Schulzeit der Mehrlinge, Geschwister der Mehrlinge, Probleme ausser Haus, Urlaub und Freizeit der Eltern), Auswirkungen von Behinderungen der Mehrlinge auf die Belastung der Eltern, Aspekte in Relation zu unterschiedlichem finanziellen Einkommen der Familien
