Open Infrastructures for Open Access books: Community-led Metadata Management, Dissemination & Archiving with Thoth

Abstract

Presentation held as part of the third event of the "Collective funding models for open access books" webinar series hosted by Jisc and the Open Access Book Network, where infrastructure providers and librarians will discuss why not-for-profit, community-led open infrastructure is so important for Open Access books and how it can best be supported by funders, publishers, and libraries.

Thoth Open Metadata is a key stakeholder in the Open Book Futures project, which is being supported by the Research England Development (RED) Fund, and Arcadia.
