This article focuses on reconstructing and presenting the biography of Sister Maria Teresa Collada Madrera, Minister of the Secular Franciscan Order (O.F.S.) in Villaviciosa since 1978, has played an important role in the conservation of the O.F.S. in that asturian council in the late twentieth century and early twenty-first century. Without it the O.F.S. in Villaviciosa would have disappeared long ago. Moreover, given the lack of studies on the history of the O.F.S. in Villaviciosa and the scarcity of them to all Asturias, this article takes on added importance to know a little better the history and evolution of the Order in these territories.
