These recommendations have been produced by the participants in the “Open Science in the South. Management and openess of research data : panorama and perspectives in Africa” symposium, held in Cotonou (Benin) from 25 to 27 October 2022, by African, European and Canadian organizations. In line with the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science and the Dakar Declaration (10.5281/zenodo.3577891)), these recommendations aim to support the implementation of a true culture of open science among African scientists.
