At the beginning of the first decade of the 21st century, means of transport became a fundamental pillar in the development of the world's states. Today, the automotive industry has progressed to such an essential level that means of transport are produced in various types and categories. However, regardless of their volume and capacity, drivers in road traffic, on public roads, are equal before the law and must strictly comply with the provisions of road traffic. Thus, in the following research, we propose as a desideratum – the comparative analysis of the contraventions in the field of road traffic existing in the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Moldova.
