Modelo causal del comportamiento no satisfactorio y rendimiento académico como variables explicativas del pensamiento creativo

Abstract

Objetivo: Identificar el nivel explicativo del pensamiento creativo a partir del comportamiento no satisfactorio y el rendimiento académico estudiantil. Método: Se aplicó el modelo de ecuaciones estructurales con el programa MPLUS (Munthén y Munthén, 2022), a partir de lo cual se realizó un análisis documental de las boletas de promoción del año escolar respecto al comportamiento y al rendimiento académico. Se trabajó con una muestra aleatoria estratificada de 103 estudiantes de básica superior, pertenecientes una escuela de educación básica de la ciudad de Azogues, Ecuador. Resultados: El modelo de ecuaciones estructurales muestra que el rendimiento explica muy poco a la creatividad (r=0,185) mientras que el comportamiento disciplinar no tan satisfactorio la explica mayormente (0,648). A su vez, comportamiento y rendimiento se correlacionan negativamente. Conclusión: A medida que aumentan los problemas de comportamiento de algunos estudiantes de la institución, se incrementa su nivel de creatividad.
