Transitando del monopolio de inteligencia a las inteligencias múltiples

Abstract

El conocimiento científico durante mucho tiempo ha querido despejar las dudas y aferrarse a las certezas, es decir, disipar la complejidad de los fenómenos, simplificarlos. Ello lleva a conocimientos mutilados, que hacen evidentes las cegueras del conocer. Y es que la palabra complejidad – dice Morin - no tiene una herencia noble, ya sea filosófica, científica, o epistemológica. Por el contrario: “sufre una pesada tara semántica, porque lleva en su seno confusión, incertidumbre, desorden”. Entonces definiciones absolutas como la de “inteligencia”, se hacen estériles, pues no puede resumirse en un solo concepto, la inteligencia no puede reducirse a una sola y sencilla idea, de lo contrario, se caería en la simplicidad. La idea sería tratar de desarrollar desde la escuela un tiepo de inteligencia o inteligencias de acuerdo a las aptitudes, intereses e inquietudes de nuestros alumnos.
