Conectando con el pasado. Redes sociales en la Prehistoria Reciente

Abstract

Virtual social networks have changed the way of life of humanity. They set a functional framework to interact with people all over the planet and news broadcasting. However, social networks are not a contemporary invention. Since the origins of humankind, social networks have constituted the complex silent foundation on which the collective structures that make up human societies are woven. This dense web of relationships, which begins to be composed in the most intimate circles, can grow and spread to the most distant corners. The structures of all human society are built on this relational fabric, regardless of its degree of complexity. For this reason, the study of social networks can provide insights into structural, economic, social, or health problems.
