Abstract

El hidrotratamiento catalítico se utiliza para la eliminación de contaminantes como azufre, nitrógeno, oxígeno y metales presentes, mediante la hidrogenación. También es utilizado para la recuperación de los derivados del petróleo luego de su uso, como lo son los aceites lubricantes. Se emplearon nanocatalizadores soportados en SiO2 proveniente de cáscaras de arroz, impregnados con cobalto, níquel y molibdeno, con una relación carga/masa fija en un reactor discontinuo, bajo agitación y a presión y temperatura constante. La cantidad de compuestos saturados aumentaron a 87,9 % y los aromáticos disminuyeron a 7,9 %, además, las propiedades fisicoquímicas de las bases lubricantes recuperadas mejoraron significativamente.
