Puccinia arechavaletae Speg. on Serjania decapleuria Croat. Panama, Chiriqui Province, David, 8°25.947'N, 82°27.045'W, 26 Nov. 2004, leg. J.R. Hernandez 2004- 128, II-M (BPI 864115). P. arechavaletae is widespread in the Americas on species in the Sapindaceae (Farretal. 2004; Hernandezetal. 2005a, b). This is the first report of P. arechavaletae from Panama.
