Abstract

O freio lingual �� uma estrutura anat��mica com formato de prega, que se fixa no ventre lingual, entre o ��pice e o ter��o m��dio, e no assoalho da boca, tendo participa����o em v��rios processos junto com a l��ngua, tal como no processo de aleitamento materno e amadurecimento do sistema estomatogn��tico. Altera����es no desenvolvimento dessa estrutura �� chamada de anquiloglossia, conhecida popularmente como "l��ngua presa", caracterizada pelo encurtamento da por����o livre da l��ngua e pela restri����o do movimento lingual. Dessa forma, o objetivo do presente estudo �� avaliar atrav��s de uma revis��o de literatura integrativa, quais poss��veis implica����es causadas pela anquiloglossia na qualidade de vida infantil. Para isso, foi feita uma coleta de dados inexados nas plataformas eletr��nicas SciELO, Science Direct e PubMed, adotando como descritores ���Anquiloglossia���, ���Fr��nulo lingual��� e ���Odontopediatria��� nos boleando AND e OR, entre os anos de 2017 a 2021 redigidos em l��ngua inglesa e portuguesa. A sintetiza����o da revis��o ocorreu a partir da an��lise detalhada dos trabalhos e na constru����o da pergunta norteadora: ���Quais os efeitos anatomofisiol��gicos e sociais da anquiloglossia em pacientes pedi��tricos?���. Foram exclu��dos os artigos duplicados, estudos indispon��veis na ��ntegra e aqueles que n��o estavam de acordo com a tem��tica, e foram inclu��dos para compor o escopo apenas estudos dispon��veis por completo, com pacientes pedi��tricos, que correlacionassem a anquiloglossia com a qualidade de vida infantil.
