Anthonomus (s. str.) pomorum (Linnaeus, 1758) Material examined. 12 larvae and 10 pupae, 4– 12.05.2019, Russia, Saratov region, Diyakovka vill. (50.728013°N 46.764604°E), ex flower buds of Malus domestica Borkh., leg. and det. I.A. Zabaluev (IZCS); 4 larvae and 1 pupa, 18.05.2021, Russia, Saratov region, near Sinenkiye vill. (51.244222°N 45.745267°E), ex buds of M. domestica, leg. and det. I.A. Zabaluev (IZCS). Measurements of larvae (in mm). Body length: 3.78–4.78 (mean 4.25). Body width: 1.58–1.79 (mean 1.70). Head width: 0.69–0.71 (mean 0.70). Measurements of pupae (in mm). Body length: 3.73–4.96 (mean 4.09). Body width: 1.44–1.78 (mean 1.59). Head width: 0.53–0.60 (mean 0.55). Rostrum 3.6–4.2x as long as wide in male, and 4.2–4.5x in female. Pronotum 1.4–1.5x as wide as long. Remarks. The larva (Ahmad & Burke 1972) and pupa (Burke 1968) of this species have already been described. The material studied by me corresponds well to these descriptions, except that this species has three pairs of ligular setae (ligs) (= glossal), rather than two, as indicated in the previous description. Also, when describing the antenna, not all sensilla were indicated. Basal membranous segment (Figs. 105) with conical sensorium (se) and five sensilla: one ampullacea (sa), three styloconium (ss) and one basiconicum (sb). The pupa of this species has ventral setae (v) on the abdominal segments, as in A. incurvus, but in most specimens these setae are usually visible only on I–IV segments.
