This species was listed in Vietnam by Thai (2000a), but exact locality was not stated. It is also reported from the Mekong Delta by Fuchs et al. (2005), and Arnold (2009: 90). Distribution. A cosmopolitan species (Blakemore 2002). Vietnamese name. Giun toàn bắc phân ủ. Remarks. It is an introduced species from Europe (Blakemore 2002). Many synonyms that have priority over E. andrei Bouche, 1972 that is thus a likely junior synonym (see Blakemore 2002, 2012).
