Xylocopa chrysopoda Schrottky, 1902a: 475 (http://hol.osu.edu/spmInfo.html?id=MZSP%20000032) Holotype: ♂ ‘17.759 [Brazil, São Paulo, Jundiaí, 1900, O. Dreher col.]’ ‘Tipo’ ‘ Holotype, Xylocopa chrysopoda Schrottky, 1902 ’. Current status: Xylocopa (Ioxylocopa) chrysopoda Schrottky, 1902.
