Entre los objetos relacionados con los contextos funerarios, cuya carga simbólica no ha sido todavía estudiada de manera exhaustiva, los astrágalos ocupan un lugar de especial importancia. En esta contribución los resultados procedentes del análisis del contenido de los ajuares procedentes tanto del territorio peninsular e insular ibérico como italiano serán utilizados con el fin de elaborar una nueva teoría interpretativa acerca de los hallazgos de los huesos de astrágalo en los contextos funerarios.
Among the objects related with funeral contexts, whose symbolism hasn’t been studied enough, astragalus take up a special significance. In this contribution the results of the analysis of the contents that are part of the grave goods from the graveyards of peninsular and insular Spain and Italy will be studied in order to draw up a new interpretative theory about the discovery of talus in funerary context.
