Abstract

Hordeum hexastichon Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 85. 1753. "Habitat - - - –” RCN: 711. Neotype (Cope in Cafferty & al. in Taxon 49: 251. 2000): Greece. Kapujilar, 3 m SE of Salonika, May 1918, J. Ramsbottom s.n. (BM-000576274). Current name: Hordeum vulgare L. subsp. vulgare convar. vulgare var. hexastichon (L.) Asch. (Poaceae).
