Controlando o fluxo para confirmar a sobrevivencia

Abstract

A Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) declarou em janeiro de 2020 a ”pandemia” em razão do vírus SARS-CoV-2, agente causador do COVID-19. Tal fato deflagrou inúmeros desdobramentos a nível mundial, desde estudos sobre o v´ırus a estratégias para conter a transmissão. O isolamento social é uma das estratégias adotada em vários países do mundo. É notório sua eficácia na contenção da transmissão do vírus. Porém, juntamente com o isolamento, várias organizações foram impedidas de operar. Esse fato, possui grande impacto nas pessoas, pois gera a diminuição de renda, desemprego e por fim impacta toda uma cadeia econômica. Desta forma, é importante buscar formas de permitir a operação das organizações e mesmo assim, contribuir para a mitigação da transmissão do vírus. O presente estudo apresenta um modelo de plano de contingência a ser estabelecido pelas organizações. O modelo é baseado no método Kanban e no método de Jacobs e tem como premissa a limitação do fluxo dos clientes pela cadência de atendimento. Após a aplicação do modelo, foi observado que o modelo é factível pela organizac¸ao, sendo o mesmo aplicável com base na realidade organizacional. Porém, o trabalho revelou que e necessário por parte da organização, a verificação da relação custo-benefício, pois em determinados ramos, o custo de operação pode ser maior que o lucro obtido inviabilizando a sua operação.
