Females can be distinguished by having T 1 white; T 4- T 5 red; hind basitarsus having the posterior margin strongly curved; T 5- T 6 red in males. Distribution in India: Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Calcutta. (Williams, 1991; Saini et al., 2015) Distribution worldwide: India, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nepal (Williams, 2004, 2022; Williams et al., 2010) Host plant: Taraxacum officinale Weber. (Asteraceae), Impatiens bicolor Royle, and Impatiens glandulifera Royle (Balsaminaceae), Trifolium repens L., Trifolium pratense L. (Fabaceae), Agastache foeniculum Kuntze (Lamiaceae).
