Abstract

It is planned to add a landing gear, create a cargo compartment inside the fuselage, and integrate an autopilot system to the Talon 1400 V2 platform, which is studied within the “Small Fixed-Wing UAV” class. The landing gear and the payload to be carried as cargo will add extra weight to the aircraft. This situation requires more lift force compared to the unmodified version of the aircraft. Increasing the thrust will boost the aircraft’s power and also increase its speed. Initial CFD analyses have been carried out by us for the original platform. Depending on the power of the new motor, CFD analyses will be conducted with the updated cruising speed, and the lift coefficient graph of the modified platform will be generated. In addition, an autopilot system will be designed using a Raspberry Pi. An IMU, GPS, and altimeter will be selected and integrated into the Raspberry Pi. A PID flight controller will be designed based on the motion equations.

Küçük Sabit Kanatlı İHA” sınıfında incelenen Talon 1400 V2 platformuna iniş takımı eklenmesi, gövde içine kargo hacmi açılması ve otomatik pilot sisteminin entegresi planlanmıştır. İniş takımı ve kargo olarak taşınacak faydalı yük uçağa ekstra ağırlık ekleyecektir. Bu durum uçağın modifikasyona uğramamış halinden daha fazla taşıma kuvveti sağlanmasına neden olmaktadır. Arttırılan itki uçağın gücünü arttırarak hızda da artış sağlayacaktır. Platformun orijinal hali ile ilk HAD analizleri tarafımızca yapılmıştır. Yeni motorun gücüne bağlı olarak değişecek seyrüsefer hızı ile HAD analizleri yapılarak modifiye edilmiş platformun taşıma katsayısı grafiği çıkartılacaktır. Ayrıca Raspberry Pi kullanılarak otopilot sistemi tasarlanacaktır. IMU, GPS ve altimetre seçilerek Raspberry Pi’ye entegre edilecektir. Denklemlere bağlı olarak PID uçuş kontrolcüsü tasarlanacaktır.
