Abstract

Polistes (Polistes) associus Kohl, 1898 * Material examined IRAQ: Kurdistan, Duhok, SW of Ashewa, 1100 m, 37.013611°N 43.284444°E, 1–4 June 2024, 2 ♀ (MSVI). Distribution Spain, France (including Corsica), Italy (including Sicily), Malta, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Azerbaijan, Russia, Iraq *, Iran, Pakistan, India, Tajikistan, China (Schmid-Egger et al. 2017).
