One such practice that has gained global attention is Vipassana meditation - a 2500-year-old technique that offers deep insights into the workings of the mind. Vipassana, which means "to see things as they really are," is one of India's most ancient techniques of meditation. It was rediscovered by Gautama the Buddha over 2,500 years ago and is taught today in its original form. Unlike other forms of meditation that focus on relaxation or visualization, Vipassana aims at purification of the mind by self-observation. Through continuous practice, Vipassana helps in dissolving deep-rooted mental impurities and results in balanced mental health.
