The Feminine Poetics of Ana María Fagundo. Notes for Teaching Practice

La poética femenina de Ana María Fagundo. Notas para la praxis docente

Abstract

The writer Ana María Fagundo blurs in her poetic work the limits imposed by hegemonic cultural thought in favor of a new identity construction. She develops a female-feminist poetic discourse to communicate her differential ontological experience in a continuous becoming of her being as a woman. From this perspective, she subverts the code of female representation using different elements such as the body, language, nature, and desire, with which she builds new egalitarian values to demonstrate that other spaces and other discourses are possible. Teaching practice still echoes certain cultural hegemony in curricular content, and education, as a form of social activism, must also question the old order to break with the biased and patriarchal vision of the curriculum. Reading Ana María Fagundo reveals new approaches and references from which to read, perceive, construct, and analyze diverse and non-standardized identities
