Abstract

Este libro, al integrar el conocimiento teórico, el análisis de la problemática y la evidencia empírica busca ofrecer una comprensión integral del fenómeno del abandono de la LME y sus implicaciones para la salud infantil. La información presentada en este libro es relevante para los profesionales de la salud, las instituciones y los responsables de las políticas públicas, quienes tienen la responsabilidad de promover, proteger y apoyar la LME como una estrategia fundamental para mejorar la salud de las madres y los niños. La invitación, al finalizar la lectura, es a la reflexión y al diálogo, para que la LME se convierta en una realidad para todas las madres y todos los niños, garantizando así un futuro más saludable y próspero para las generaciones venideras.
