Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es reflexionar acerca del proceso creativo de Respiración artificial (1980), primera novela del escritor argentino Ricardo Piglia (1940-2017). En Los diarios de Emilio Renzi, publicados entre 2015 y 2017, Piglia parece haber profundizado el proyecto borgeano de lo literario como indisociable de la teoría y la crítica. La publicación coordinada por Piglia de partes seleccionadas de sus diarios sacó a la luz su laboratorio creativo. Los diarios de Emilio Renzi abrieron nuevas perspectivas de lectura crítica para toda la producción de Piglia. Es como si la “máquina polifacética” de Piglia encontrara, por fin, su locomotora. Tomando como punto de partida las reflexiones desarrollada en los diarios, este trabajo objetiva reflexionar acerca de las relaciones entre los primeros textos críticos publicados por Piglia y sus relaciones con Respiración artificial (1980), su primera novela. Esta investigación tiene por base el campo teórico y metodológico de la crítica genética.
